Program Manager, Asset Management

Program Leadership & Execution Lead the Digital Transformation of Operating Systems, including selection, deployment, and optimization of digital tools and platforms. Oversee the SharePoint Data Taxonomy Transformation, ensuring structured, scalable, and user-friendly data architecture across the organization. Develop and implement a Compliance Management Program covering NERC Generator Owner (GO) standards and other regulatory frameworks. Manage the USSP Decommissioning Program, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective asset retirement. Serve as the New Project Onboarding Lead for M&A activities, ensuring smooth integration of acquired assets into the Asset Management ecosystem. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Legal, Regulatory, IT, and M&A to align program goals and execution. Act as a liaison with external partners, consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure program compliance and best practices. Strategic Planning & Reporting Develop program roadmaps, KPIs, and performance dashboards. Provide regular updates to executive leadership on program status, risks, and opportunities. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across all programs. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent with experience Established experience with program management within the energy sector. Proven track record in leading cross-functional programs, especially in digital transformation and regulatory compliance. Strong understanding of Digital Systems/Platforms, renewable energy operations, and M&A integration. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with SharePoint architecture and enterprise data management. Familiarity with renewable energy asset lifecycle, including decommissioning. PMP or similar project management certification. Knowledge of ERP and CMMS systems used in energy operations. Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Role is based in Durham office. Work is performed in an office environment with limited field visits. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 20 pounds.
