How you'll contribute A Front Desk Representative within the Family Practice department, who excels in this role: Assumes responsibility for the efficient, productive, and professional operation of the front office. Duties include Checking in, Co-Pay collection and appointment call reminders. Manages telephone and patient reception, scheduling of patients, collecting patient demographic and insurance information. Maintaining non-clinical supplies and receiving/documenting patient payments. Comfortable working with 30-45 patients throughout the day. Schedule:
This position is a Full Time, Benefited position. Working hours are day shift general business hours, 40 hours per week. What we're looking for High school diploma or equivalent required One year experience working in a medical/business office setting with strong customer service. Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations, especially Medicare & Medicaid. Experience working with medical terminology, electronic medical records and scheduling systems.
