Position Details: Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00 | Year 3 - $19.50 | Year 4 - $19.50 | Year 5 - $20.50 Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Collaborating with team members and sharing important information with your leader Ensuring the security and confidentiality of all documents and data Performing cashier duties, including processing purchases, maintaining cleanliness, and stocking merchandise Delivering exceptional customer service and assisting shoppers Providing feedback to management about inventory and customer experiences Stocking shelves and properly rotating products for freshness Organizing new inventory and handling empty boxes Operating machinery with adherence to safety protocols Physical Requirements: This role involves: Regular activities including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the store For stock associates: ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older Strong customer service skills Ability to maintain cleanliness in accordance with company standards Effective verbal communication and team collaboration skills Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks Knowledge of company products and services is a plus Cashier: Proficiency in operating a cash register accurately Stocker: Morning availability, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Previous retail experience beneficial A combination of education and experience demonstrating similar knowledge Join us for a rewarding career path at ALDI, where you can grow and enjoy what you do!
