Estimated Weekly Salary

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,570 - $1,680 per week

ER RN Job Details

• Location: Texarkana, TX 75503 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Emergency Department (ER nursing jobs)
• Employment Type: Travel (locum tenens)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 10, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: Must be able to float to all ED locations
• Positions Available: 2

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex patient care in the emergency room
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health issues and available resources
• Delegate tasks appropriately to other clinical support staff
• Participate in orientation, competency validation, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA only)
• Current TNCC certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Emergency Department nursing preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Ability to float to all ED locations as needed
