Job Summary and Qualifications
The Progressive Care Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers for pre-operative and post-operative care. The RN advocates for patients to ensure an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
- Performing procedures as ordered by medical providers.
- Documenting care accurately and timely.
- Administering prescribed medications and monitoring responses.
- Maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Qualifications needed:
- Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure; active FL RN license required within 60 days if holding a compact license.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Critical thinking, communication skills, PC skills, and ability to follow instructions.
