Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Schedule: Full-time Days

Shift: 40 hours per week

The role you'll contribute: The Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates the multidisciplinary care team and provides direct patient care within the scope of responsibility. The RN uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to maintain and improve patient outcomes. The RN demonstrates leadership, accountability, and growth, and adheres to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and all regulatory standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efforts of the multidisciplinary care team for patients within scope of responsibility. Provide direct patient care and collaborate with patients, families, peers, physicians and other health care team members.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to maintain and improve patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership and professional accountability; commit to growth and evidence-based practice.
• Adhere to Kansas Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

What will you need?

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• No Previous Experience
• Kansas Registered Nurse License
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association – Preferred
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or obtained within 5 years of employment – Preferred
