Overview

Position Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Shifts Available: Days (Rotating Weekends); Nights (Rotating Weekends)

This 323-bed acute care hospital is located in the heart of Ocala, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by providers.
• Document care delivery accurately and promptly in the patient medical record.
• Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Prepare patients and families for self-management and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver a holistic, evidence‑based plan of care.
• Participate in quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent Acute Care RN experience (ICU or higher acuity than Med/Surg preferred; strong Med/Surg candidates considered).
• Current RN license in Florida or compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days if relocating).
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or CCRN certification required within 1 year of hire.

• 48-bed Intensive Care Unit.
• Reports to: Nurse Manager.
