• Location: Las Cruces, NM 88011 – Experience sunny weather, scenic desert landscapes, and a welcoming healthcare community.
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 29, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM); call required and split among nurses for 24/7 coverage
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,070 - $2,450
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• EMR System: PICIS/Medhost
• Scrubs: Provided and laundered by hospital

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience
• BLS and AED certifications required
• CNOR and ACLS certifications preferred
• Ability to float to Operating Room (OR) when CVOR cases are not scheduled
• Strong documentation and workflow coordination skills

CVOR RN Responsibilities

• Serve as circulating nurse in the CVOR, ensuring patient safety during open-heart and vascular surgeries
• Maintain accurate documentation and support sterile field during cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Coordinate workflow and collaborate with the surgical healthcare team
• Float to general OR nursing duties as needed
• Participate in call rotation for unit coverage
• Uphold hospital standards for infection control and patient care
