Travel Surgical Tech - $1,309 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred in Neuro, ENT, and Robotics cases License: Current state license required Certifications: NBSTSA certification required, BLS Must-Have: Experience in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Davinci Xi) cases Description: This position is for an OR Certified Surgical Technologist. The shift will be nights, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Rotating weekends will be required. This position does not require on-call duties. The candidate may need to float between like units to meet facility needs. Common surgical cases include Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, Robotics, Transplants, Trauma, and GU/GYN. First-time travelers will be considered. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. The facility is a Level 1 trauma center, with a busy operating room environment. The main operating room consists of 21 OR suites that cover all surgical specialties. The nursing team is predominantly composed of registered nurses and certified surgical technologists. This department is a Magnet designated, dynamic environment that utilizes cutting-edge technology. Candidates should be prepared to staff a variety of surgical cases. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval for time off is based on facility needs. Travelers should be aware of potential hurricane season assignments from June through November. Candidates must have a South Carolina license or have applied for one and show proof of application. All candidates must be compliant with pre-start requirements before reporting for duty.
