Job Summary:
The Grants Operations Supervisor organizes and supervises the day-to-day operation of grant-funded programs and team members. This position also screens and assesses for appropriateness of services and best fit program, in addition to providing education, referral and/or case management assistance related to the identified issues or knowledge deficit as needed. Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities: Supervises daily activities of staff, which includes developing and counseling employees as outlined in the grant. Assists with hiring and orientation of new hires. Develops, plans, implements, manages, and evaluates a community-based program as outlined in the grant. Acts as a resource to others for decision-making and problem-solving related to appropriate referrals and plan of care intervention. Assists in grant memorandum of agreement reviews, approval, and execution. Assists with grant proposals/renewals and attends request for proposal preparation meetings, and annual grant reports. Maintains accurate statistical data and reports according to department and grant deadlines. Assists with managing and maintaining grant budgets. Develops, supervises, and presents a variety of age specific program outreach activities (i.e., group presentations, educational classes, in-services, health fairs). Develops and implements marketing strategies including presentations to other Network departments and community agencies to promote and support the program. Coordinates the performance improvement and quality management activities in accordance with grant and department guidelines. Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or counseling from an accredited college or university. 4 plus years of experience working in one of the following fields: social work, HIV services, nursing, counseling, therapy, or grant-funded services. Current licensure in one of the following:
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) from the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.
Certification in non-aggressive crisis management; must be obtained while in orientation and maintained throughout employment. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification; must be obtained within 90 days from date of hire. Preferred Qualifications:
4 plus years of experience in social services. Experience working with state and federal grants. Full licensure from appropriate state boards based on their field of education.
