The candidate will perform echocardiograms using various techniques including 3-D Echo and TEE. They should be familiar with adult acute care and outpatient settings. This role includes responsibilities in the ER and ICU, supporting critically ill patients. The tech will be expected to conduct bubble studies and pharmacologic stress echoes. Routine tasks also involve obtaining 12 lead EKGs/ECGs and using imaging with contrast agents. The ideal candidate should have experience in portable studies and isolation precautions. Call coverage includes one weekend per month and one weekday per week, including holidays. Candidates are expected to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. This role is open to first-time travelers.
