Job Title: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Pediatric Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour or Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8-10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience required License: Must have state license in hand at submission Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, RDCS required Must-Have: • Adult Echo Skills/Experience: Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Routine, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo. • Pediatric Echo Skills/Experience: M-Mode, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Routine. • Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings. Description: Position involves working in a unit that predominantly serves adults, with some pediatric cases. Shifts will vary based on departmental needs, with start times typically between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. Workload consists of 40 hours per week, with a mix of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts. The role requires on-call duties, typically 1-2 nights a week and every 3rd to 4th weekend. Holidays will also follow a call rotation. No first-time professionals will be accepted for this position. Candidates will float if needed to meet facility needs. It is essential that candidates adhere to all compliance needs in a timely manner and complete the full assignment without attendance or behavior issues. The setting may include caring for patients across various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
