The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining efficient and accurate inventory management procedures consistent with company policy and procedure. Authorizes adjustments made to inventory. Ensure compliance with internal policies and governmental policies. Manages a team and creates a cohesive organization. Communicates throughout the operation.

Position Responsibilities may include;

Implement and maintain policy and procedures relating to inventory control. Manage a team of 10-20, including analysts and cycle counters. Monitor and direct the work of others, provide performance feedback, coaching, and counseling. Authorize all adjustments made to inventory. Drive safety efforts and compliance throughout the team. Ensure compliance with HACCP and other government policies. Audit receiving and stocking procedures to ensure that policies are followed. Responsible for associate development through training on policy & procedures. Create a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open. Review daily inventory discrepancy reports. Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection. Lead daily "start-up" meetings and effectively communicate departmental/company topics. Responsible for establishing processes throughout their teams for meeting SOX compliance requirements. Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy. Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Lead bi-monthly, weekend coil counts Responsible for providing daily work tasks/cycle count sheets to the cycle counters. Confirm completion of cycle count activity daily. Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary. Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs. Nature and Scope:

HACCP Compliant training and strong understanding of inventory control procedures and best practices Must understand process of distribution Ability to demonstrate end-user level skills in mathematics, personal and mainframe computers, and related application is required Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel and Word Effective team development and project supervision and delegation skills Established history creating a culture of engaged employees Excellent verbal and written communication skills including questioning/listening skills- with ability to determine facts about situations High level of attention, strong analytical skills and effective problem solving skills Effective organizational and time management skills; follow through skills Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethics and integrity on the job Knowledge of Daikin inventory management systems preferred Experience:

2 - 3 years of prior lead/supervisor work experience in a receiving, materials, or warehouse capacity 5 plus years of related experience in a high mixed volume manufacturing production environment Education:

High School Diploma or GED required College degree is preferred People Management: Yes

Physical Requirements / Working Environment:
