Position Information:

Under general supervision, the Health Clerk provides clerical support to the school Health Office and ensures that basic health services are provided to students and staff members to maximize health and wellness in the school community. All duties must be performed in accordance with district and state Board of Education policies and procedures and state law regarding health care practice.

District Information:

District 62 has approximately 4,700 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information:

The position starting salary is $18.54 per hour including fully paid individual health benefits. (Those with who hold a Bachelors degree will have a starting salary of $19.54 per hour.) This position is part of the Des Plaines Educational Support Personnel Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement.
