We are seeking a
Human Services Program Administrator 2
in our Bureau of Unit Management. This position will assist facilities with the development, implementation, and coordination of case management. Duties include, but are not limited to: Work with unit managers, case managers, and operations to plan, develop, direct, and evaluate program areas within facilities Research, develop, implement, and monitor policy and procedures for programming and community services programs for youth; formulate and direct implementation of policies related to unit management and case managers Collaborate with facility, parole and reentry staff, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure service needs are met prior to a youth's transition to the community Work with Behavioral Health administration and facility administration to develop, monitor, and review current and potential programming and treatment strategies for youth Ensure youth's individualized treatment plan is established at intake and followed through release date; attend and monitor treatment plan meetings Monitor programs for effectiveness and complete required reports; train staff and deliver curriculum as needed; ensure compliance with federal guidelines and DYS policy; audit compliance of programming with ACA standards and departmental policy; collaborate with facility leadership to identify and address programmatic needs Travel to facilities and sites for meetings, training, and program monitoring; provide support and technical assistance to unit managers and case managers to troubleshoot issues and ensure program fidelity and schedule adherence

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science, pre-medicine or public or business administration or accounting;
and
18 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider or review of such services for cost containment/budget planning;
and
6 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.
Or completion of graduate core program in social or behavioral science, medicine-related field or public or business administration or accounting;
and
12 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider or review of such services for cost containment/budget planning;
and
6 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques. Note: Training in business or public administration or accounting & exp. in review of services for cost containment/budgeting only pertain to medical cost containment program administrator positions.
