We are seeking a
PREA Administrator (Human Services Program Administrator 3)
in our Bureau of Professional Standards. This position will plan and administer Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) compliance for the agency. Duties include, but are not limited to: Formulate, implement, update, and monitor policy to ensure compliance with PREA Standards; generate confidential reports; supervise CCF PREA Administrator and provide statewide oversight of PREA Compliance Managers Conduct quality assurance to the records management system; analyze and evaluate procedures and policies and make recommendations to resolve problem areas; develop and implement quality assurance tools to track and monitor PREA incidents and investigations to ensure compliance with DYS policies and procedures, and federal regulations; prepare audit reports Conduct site visits on a monthly basis to all DYS facilities and other facilities on a routine basis and hold exit conferences with site managers; complete site visit reports in a timely manner; provide feedback on areas of deficiency and assist the sites in the development of corrective action plans; follow-up to ensure compliance with corrective action plans Participate in searching for grants to augment the PREA practices to assist ongoing improvement; act as lead project manager for any grants obtained Organize and provide training on PREA Standards, sexual assault, abuse, harassment, and other related training; complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science or pre-medicine;
and
24 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider;
and
6 mos. exp. in management;
and
12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.
Or completion of graduate core program in social or behavioral science or medicine-related field;
and
18 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider;
and
6 mos. exp. in management;
and
12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
