Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based imaging department with X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI services Handle routine and STAT MRI exams for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations Average of 30 MRI studies performed on weekdays and 14 studies on weekends Patient population includes ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient with various diagnoses Uses Siemens MRI equipment, Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS Variable shifts with required holiday coverage as scheduled No floating required within the facility First-time travelers will be considered for this position 1 day of administrative onboarding followed by department-specific training during first week Department does not have trauma or teaching designation Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the hospital Black scrubs required Free parking is available on-site Manager approval required for requests for time off Travelers are expected to work holidays that occur during their scheduled shifts Requirements Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required Current ARRT(R) or NMTCB and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT national certification required Current BLS certification required Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced imaging environment completing both routine and STAT MRI exams State licensure is not required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617519.
