About the Role: We're seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our team in the Elgin area. Forklift Operators play a key role in ensuring materials and products are moved efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas Move materials to proper storage locations or production areas Inspect forklifts daily for maintenance needs and safety compliance Maintain accurate records of goods moved Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines Keep work area clean and organized Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification (training available in some cases) Previous forklift operation or warehouse experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts Basic computer or inventory tracking system knowledge a plus Call or text
