We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

HR Generalist

to join our team. This role will provide essential Human Resources support and play a key role in advancing HR initiatives across employee relations, onboarding, performance management, benefits, compliance, and employee communication. Acting as a trusted point of contact, the HR Generalist will guide employees, supervisors, and frontline managers on day-to-day HR matters. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. Conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of all employment documentation and training. Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with federal and state laws. Serve as a resource for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures. Investigate employee complaints, document findings, and provide guidance to managers and staff. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Administer employee benefit programs (enrollments, changes, terminations) and liaise with insurance providers. Track and report HR metrics, including engagement indicators. Assist with payroll processing by verifying timesheets and employee status changes. Stay current on HR best practices and employment legislation to ensure compliance. Manage employee workers' compensation claims and serve as a liaison with carriers and providers. Administer FMLA and leave of absence programs, including documentation and compliance tracking. Provide administrative support and assist with special HR projects as needed. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. 5-7 years of HR experience; PHR certification preferred but not required. Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Broad knowledge of human resources disciplines and employment law. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. High level of confidentiality and discretion.
