The Static Equipment and Heat Transfer department is seeking a Software Administrator to serve as the single-point contact for managing and coordinating software-related activities across our portfolio of engineering and technical software programs. This role will interface with internal IT, legal, procurement, and risk management teams to ensure smooth deployment, compliance, and support of software tools critical to our operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Coordinate pilot deployments and full-scale rollouts of new software tools.
* Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compatibility and performance.
* Support license negotiations with vendors.
* Generate and track purchase orders (POs) for software acquisitions and renewals.
* Facilitate Risk and Privacy Impact Assessments.
* Coordinate legal reviews of End User License Agreements (EULAs) and other contractual documents.
* Manage user access and permissions across software platforms.
* Provide end-user support and troubleshooting assistance.
* Work with IT to plan and execute server upgrades and software layering.
* Ensure software remains compatible with evolving infrastructure.
* Collect and streamline processes where appropriate
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in related field Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
* Experience in software administration, IT coordination, or technical project management.
* Experience with enterprise software lifecycle management in a corporate setting.
* Knowledge of risk, privacy, and legal compliance frameworks.
* Experience with procurement processes and legal documentation is a plus.
Technical Skills Familiarity with tools in the following domains is a plus: FEA & simulation, pressure vessel and heat exchanger design, inspection and integrity management, engineering calculations, CAD and design, and environmental/acoustic modeling, with some tools supporting workflow integration and licensing Hexagon ( PVElite, Tank, Caesar) Mathcad Dassault Systems (Solidworks/ Abaqus) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is
$35.00-$40.00
per hour, however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note: Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
