Job Summary
We are seeking two Medical Assistants for a contract position in Bourne, Massachusetts. The role involves working in a Family/Internal Medicine setting, where you will perform various clinical and administrative duties to support the healthcare team. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities Rooming patients and preparing them for examination. Taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.). Insurance verification and ensuring patient eligibility for services. Collecting medical and medication history from patients. Documenting patient results and updating medical records in the Epic system. Performing light administrative tasks as needed. Supporting physicians and other clinical staff in day-to-day operations. Required Qualifications
1+ year of recent experience working as a Medical Assistant. Experience working in internal/family medicine. Proficiency in using the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. Strong clinical skills, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and collecting patient medical histories. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Experience with insurance verification and medical documentation. Certifications (if any)
Medical Assistant certification (e.g., CMA, RMA) is a plus, but not required. Primary Skills
Experience with Epic EHR system. Strong clinical skills in rooming, vital signs, and medical history documentation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
