What to Expect

The Credit Furnishing Associate is primarily responsible for performing detailed account review of exceptions generated by the EvaluData credit reporting tool and executing controls for IT systems. Additionally, the Associate will be responsible for conducting root-cause analysis of exceptions identified by the EvaluData tool or IT system control outcomes. The Associate will collaborate with IT and other relevant stakeholders to identify and implement necessary process and system changes, aiming to prevent the recurrence of exceptions. They will contribute insights and collaborate with the Credit Furnishing & Control Manager in making recommendations on updates to the EvaluData exception rules, ensuring accurate identification of exceptions within the credit reporting process for HCA. This role involves hands-on involvement in the day-to-day execution of tasks to support the efficient functioning of credit reporting processes and compliance with established standards. All positions within the Operations Division are expected to collaborate cross-divisionally to achieve a seamless customer experience; this includes supporting other departments as necessary to meet the business need.

What You Will Do

1. Partner and support the effort to develop processes, workflows and requirements to support the enterprise with accurately and timely reporting of credit reporting consumer information. Participate and support root-cause analysis, identification of system fixes/enhancements and execution of the identified system fixes/enhancements. Perform detailed account reviews of exceptions generated by the EvaluData credit reporting tool and validate credit reporting suppressions necessitated by System Change Requests (SCRs).

2. Support the development, implementation and execution of controls to IT systems to validate that the systems are appropriately executing key processes. Perform root-cause analysis, identification of system fixes/enhancements and execution of the identified system fixes/enhancements.

3. Actively participate in coaching and development sessions/trainings to co [1] create solutions that enhance individual performance and overall team performance.

4. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring

• 2-4 years related experience working in consumer reporting operations, preferably in the automotive finance space.

• Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM, Oracle, Siebel, or a similar CRM system), including Service Requests and Analysis a plus.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

• SQL, SAS, Excel, or other procedural language for reporting development.

• Knowledge of credit reporting, FCRA, and Metro 2.

• Ability to explain complex systems and data succinctly.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of typical finance industry and/or automotive concepts and metrics are a plus.

• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Flexible, adaptable and hands-on approach with an ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects/assignments.

• Moderate to Advance PC skills: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Visio, Project.

Work Environment

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an at home and office environment.

The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
