Our client, a premier plastic surgery practice is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Ophthalmic Medical Technician (COMT) to support their skilled and compassionate team. This specialty practice focuses on eyelid, orbital, lacrimal, and facial aesthetic procedures, combining medical precision with an artistic approach.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in ophthalmology or a strong interest in the field and thrive in a detail-oriented, patient-focused, and aesthetically driven setting.
What You'll be Doing...
Assist the oculoplastic surgeon with clinical evaluations and minor in-office procedures Take thorough patient histories, conduct visual acuity testing, pupillary exams, and imaging as needed Support patients through pre-op assessments and post-op care Educate patients on procedures, treatments, and recovery instructions Prepare and maintain exam rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment Manage clinical photography and documentation for both medical and cosmetic patients Here's what your work history needs to show as evidence that you're the right candidate....
1+ year of experience in a medical practice (ophthalmology/oculoplastics experience highly preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, calm demeanor Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical photography preferred Leadership experience a plus Certified Medical Assistant (required) COMT certification preferred but not required Here's the Important details...
Location: Bellevue, WA Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $28.00-$31.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM (3 days/week) and 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (2 days/week)
