Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years as a full-time sonographer in an inpatient setting License: Current relevant state license Certifications: RDCS or RCS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with Phillips equipment and Xcelera - Level 1 trauma experience with inpatient background, no outpatient - Must have at least 2 years of experience at a single facility as a full-time sonographer - Must be available for at least 2 Saturday shifts per 13-week contract - Must be able to complete 4 standby shifts per month - Experience in critical care settings (ICU/ED) Description: We are seeking a competent, self-motivated, and team-oriented echo sonographer. The position involves performing transthoracic echocardiograms, including advanced procedures. Experience with Impella and ECMO/ECLS devices is preferred. The daily caseload consists of 6-8 studies per day. The patient population includes trauma and burn patients, stroke and surgery patients, as well as a vulnerable demographic. The work environment is fast-paced and diverse, offering unique challenges daily. Candidates must be willing to participate in on-call coverage and have the flexibility to work weekends as required.
