Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Pickup & Delivery of packages
• Ensure shipments comply with service standards
• Provide related customer service functions as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Working hours

Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Minimum Education

• High school diploma / GED
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to maneuver packages over 50 lbs. with equipment and/or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance due to customer contact
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Medical examination required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to inquiries in accordance with FMCSA guidance
