Caregiver role at Companions & Homemakers HCA #2052. Salisbury client in need of PCA care Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am-3pm.

Companions & Homemakers is hiring PCA's, HHA's, and CNA's to provide premier in-home senior care across Connecticut. We support older adults to thrive at home with independence, health, safety and happiness, while giving families peace of mind.

What You Will Do

You will help implement customized care plans to nurture the whole person in mind, body and spirit. You will treat clients like family and strive to enhance their quality of life.

Essential Functions

• Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their home
• Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
• Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
• Provide personal companionship and ongoing social & emotional support
• Assist with personal care activities including hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
• Maintain safety, order and client enjoyment at all times
• Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
• Document completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s condition or behavior
