We’re hiring a
Managing Director (CPA)
to lead our Accounting & Tax business line. This is a
player-coach role : you’ll manage your own portfolio of nonprofit clients while also building the systems, team, and processes that will fuel growth. This Is An Opportunity To
Lead a business line with full P&L responsibility. Deliver expert nonprofit accounting and compliance services. Build a scalable practice alongside a mission-driven legal team. Help shape the future of a national platform serving nonprofit organizations. Manage and grow a portfolio of nonprofit accounting clients. Deliver accurate, timely compliance (Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, etc.). Mentor and lead a small team (Accountant + Services Manager). Implement systems and processes to support scale. Partner with FPLG attorneys to cross-sell and integrate services. Represent FPLG as a thought leader in nonprofit accounting and compliance. Requirements
CPA license (required). 7+ years’ experience in nonprofit accounting, auditing, or tax compliance. Prior leadership/management experience. Strong knowledge of IRS nonprofit regulations. Entrepreneurial mindset — excited to grow, not just maintain. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters to non-financial leaders. Why Join FPLG?
