Senior Product Manager – Personal Banking. Location options include San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; Portland, OR; or Remote within Canada or the United States. In April 2024, we launched our consumer banking offering, rapidly becoming one of the fastest-growing segments at Mercury. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Personal Banking team and help shape and scale the consumer banking program to the next level, covering user-facing experiences and the tooling that powers them behind the scenes across risk, support, compliance, and more. This role combines vision, empathy, and a deep understanding of user needs today and tomorrow. You will dive into building new small- and large-scale products for personal customers and navigate the complexities of domestic and international banking networks, quickly identifying issues, crafting solutions, and championing their importance across teams. Your ability to use data with precision will guide prioritization and justify a product roadmap that delivers exceptional user experiences and integrations. Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to design solutions that feel effortless to users, even when underlying systems are complex. Co-own with design and engineering an ambitious product roadmap for consumer banking products—from 0→1 ideas to continuous improvements and scaling the consumer program Prioritize areas of product investment using qualitative and quantitative inputs to navigate a highly ambiguous environment Collaborate across Mercury to align stakeholders on the vision for Mercury treasury and foster joint ownership over strategy and results Work across product surfaces (growth, risk, core product) and dimensions (mobile and web) to tie solutions together Clearly communicate technical and non-technical product specifications to enable efficiency across a wide range of stakeholders Identify opportunities to improve the consumer product experience for both large and small-scale projects Drive accountability and maintain a high bar for execution and customer experience Qualifications

7+ years of relevant product management experience in a financial technology company Experience working on directly regulated products in banking, insurance, wealth management, or treasury at a growth-stage startup across multiple product areas (risk, growth, mobile, core banking, etc.) Technically inclined or comfortable with technical concepts to produce detailed requirements that enable shipping high-quality features Ability to balance deep technical understanding with user empathy Ability to distill complex problems into first principles Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high bar for execution and customer experience Salary & Benefits

The total rewards package includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Our salary and equity ranges are competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and updated using reliable compensation data. New hire offers reflect experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity. Target new hire base salary ranges for this role: US employees (any location): $200,700 - $250,900 Canadian employees (any location): CAD 189,700 - 237,100 Equal Employment Opportunity
