Customer Care Representative (Onsite) – Monroeville, PA Pay Rate: $19.00/hour Location: Monroeville, PA Start Date: October 17, 2025 About the Role Bring your heart to work at a fortune 500 healthcare company! Our Caremark Member Operations division is seeking Customer Care Representatives (CCRs) to join our team onsite in Monroeville, PA. In this role, you will support members with their pharmacy benefit plans by taking inbound calls. You’ll answer questions about prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions—helping members better understand their options while delivering a positive and empathetic customer experience. Schedule Options All schedules are Monday–Friday. Training is full-time onsite: 8:00am–4:30pm (M–F) for a minimum of 6 weeks. After training, associates will transition to one of the following permanent schedules (based on availability): Standard Shifts: 8:00am – 4:30pm 9:00am – 5:30pm 11:00am – 7:30pm 12:15pm – 8:45pm Split Shifts (Optional): 9:00am – 1:00pm, then 5:00pm – 9:00pm 9:00am – 1:00pm, then 4:00pm – 8:00pm ⚠️ Please note: Schedule options are limited and will close as they are filled. Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from members regarding prescription insurance, coverage, and mail-order options. Provide empathetic, patient, and clear communication while resolving inquiries. Navigate multiple computer programs and dual screens while assisting callers. Offer solutions to simplify members’ healthcare experiences. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company standards. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (call center, retail, hospitality, or similar). Strong computer proficiency with Windows-based applications. Ability to multi-task (talk, read, and navigate systems simultaneously). Calm, empathetic, and professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. 6+ months of healthcare experience, specifically pharmacy benefit management and prior authorizations. Strong problem-solving skills and reliability. Excellent communication, patience, and customer service skills. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Additional Details Pay Rate: $19.00/hour Candidates must live within 75 miles of Monroeville, PA. Some top-performing contingent employees may be considered for conversion to full-time opportunities.
