Traveling Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Implant Specialty Support
Locations: East Cobb Family Dentistry – Marietta, GA; Windy Hill Dental Associates – Marietta, GA; Harvey Dental Group – Villa Rica, GA
Hours: Monday 7:30-4:00; Tuesday 7:30-4:00; Wednesday 6:30-4:00; Thursday 6:30-4:00
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic team supporting our traveling implant specialty doctor. This is a great opportunity for a clinically strong assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their work week.
Position Highlights
- Chairside 4-handed dentistry in general and specialty care
- Travel between three top-performing general dentistry offices
- Assist with implants, extractions, endodontics, and surgical procedures
- Take high-quality x-rays and perform intraoral scanning
- Ensure optimal patient experience with compassionate, efficient care
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in general dentistry, including implants, extractions, and endo
- Current Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification (GA)
- Proficient in 4-handed dentistry, digital radiography, and scanning
- Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Marietta and Villa Rica locations
- Working interview required for top candidates

Requirements
Education and Training
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
- Valid X-ray certificate.
- Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
- CPR & first aid certificate.
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
