Brief Description
Schedule: Overnight Shift, 2 openings, Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday

Summary: Ensure the health and safety of students and the provision of quality residential
supports and services for students during overnight and early morning hours.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Monitor overnight staff to ensure the safety of students and the implementation of student programs.
- Conduct and record overnight rounds, at a minimum of twice per shift, of each residence.
- Monitor staff performance and assist in yearly evaluation process.
- Ensure employees adhere to all policies/requirements of The Guild for Human Services.
- Administer and record individuals’ medications, in compliance with MAP.
- Attend individual’s team meetings as requested.
- Attend training as required.
- Transport students to school/appointments.
- Perform all functions of overnight staff in any Guild Residence.
- Provide staff training to overnight staff as assigned.
- Assist in conducting monthly meetings for overnight staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job including weekends, holidays and inclement weather situations.
- Demonstrated evidence of mature judgment, good interpersonal skills, a desire to enrich individuals' lives and a willingness to learn from skilled professionals.
- Physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations and de-escalate individuals who have limited cognition and complex needs
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is an essential function of the job.?Pass Guild Driving test to access Guild vehicles for transportations of individuals.
- The ability to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary, including Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (via certification through CPI).
- Associate's degree preferred
- At least two years of experience in a direct-care facility, preferably in a residential setting with a similar population; education may be substituted for one year of experience
- Ability to demonstrate supervisory and administrative skills
- Undergo background record check process
- MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification or the ability to obtain MAP certification within first 90 days of employment
