Overview

Administrative Assistant - Training at Dynamic Workforce Solutions (DWFS). Reports To: Training Program Manager. Office Location: Home Office (Wisconsin). Type/Pay: Full Time Hourly, $17.50/hr.

DWFS contracts with state and local entities to provide services that offer communities reliable workforce development and training solutions. Our approach emphasizes Extreme Customer Service and results in outstanding outcomes for the people and businesses we serve. The DWFS Wisconsin DCF Training Team works under contract with the state of Wisconsin, providing training and support services to workers in the state\'s Child Support and TANF (W-2) programs.

Primary Objectives Of Position

Assist and support activities of the DWFS Wisconsin DCF Training Team, the Training Program Manager and the Regional Program Director.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Duties: Manage calendars; arrange travel, meetings, and events (in-person and virtual); record meeting minutes; prepare reports; track staff monthly reports and follow up on missing reports; maintain IT inventory.
  • Operations Support: Assist with training operations (evaluation creation and tracking, online training prep/presentations, user support for online learning events); review documents; test online courses; search for/compile images for training development; track Project Management Tools; assist staff with obtaining needed supplies; create business cards; schedule professional development events for the training team.

Physical Demands / Work Environment

Physical requirements include carrying/lifting up to 5 pounds frequently; up to 10 pounds regularly; up to 25 pounds occasionally. Visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment. Work is primarily in a home office environment with occasional travel to other locations.

Required Competencies

Extreme Customer Service focus, learning orientation, communication proficiency, teamwork orientation, technical capacity, ability to manage tasks in a remote (home office) environment, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and administrative or support position.
  • Skills/Abilities: Ability to manage confidential information and tasks; strong Microsoft Office skills and data entry proficiency; ability to interpret and understand training processes and establish necessary work procedures; ability to set priorities and complete tasks on time; ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse remote environment; strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) in-person and virtual.
