The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and analytical support necessary to unit operations so that optimal quality care can be delivered.

The Administrative Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Chief CRNA in the anesthesia department performing essential administrative functions. These functions include schedule creation and maintenance, fiscal, human resource and information management, time keeping, payroll, and serving as a liaison with other departments.

Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant must be competent in the interpersonal, technical, analytical, and communication skills necessary to perform these functions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED. 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Meets mandatory health and education requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge related to scheduling and payroll/timekeeping issues, quality improvement and cost reduction, current policies, procedures, and protocols.
