Overview

Welders will spend the majority of their day welding plates to beams and columns on steel that will end up in large structures across the country. They will be welding Flux-core & MIG Weld on Rails and Stairs.

Responsibilities

• Weld plates to beams and columns on structural steel.
• Perform Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and MIG welding as required.
• Read weld blueprints and symbols, and measure using a tape measure.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of MIG welding experience and FCAW experience.
• Experience welding on structural steel or related schooling.
• Ability to read welding blueprints and weld symbols.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions; please ask if anything is unclear.

Pay

$24-28/hr depending on experience. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
