Locations: Nashville

Pay Range: $21.32 - $22.96 Hourly, depending on experience

Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift as needed.

1st shift: Monday 5:30a–2:30p; Tue–Fri 6a–2:30p; Every 3rd weekend (Sat–Sun 6a–6:30p); Holidays per business needs.

2nd shift: Mon–Fri 2p–10:30p; Every 3rd weekend (Sat–Sun 2p–2:30am); Holidays per business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Performs necessary pre-operation activities on multiple pieces of equipment to ensure proper startup and operation.
  • Operates multiple pieces of equipment, monitors operation, performs setup and changeover, inspects parts, and makes adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality specifications and minimize unplanned stops.
  • Performs scheduled quality assurance tests in accordance with GMP and communicates results to ensure production of correct products at high quality with minimal waste.
  • Performs housekeeping and sanitation on production equipment.
  • May operate equipment including palletizing machines (1–2 machines) to maintain factory efficiency; changeover to different SKUs and package sizes.
  • May operate Stretch Wrap machine and the computerized Pallet Tag machine.
  • Unload product from palletizing machines or load product into trailers using RF Tablet; scan product while safely stacking in warehouse bin locations.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment; follow standardized work and safety practices in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Technical, mechanical aptitude for initial basic troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs., stand for prolonged periods, and climb stairs as needed.
  • Weekend work is required, including some holidays as scheduled to support customer demand.
  • Equipment noise is elevated; use of hearing protection is required.
  • Seasonal temperatures can be expected.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years of work experience.
