About the Role

We are hiring a heavy equipment operator to support field operations. This role involves physical labor and equipment operation, including setup and teardown of job site equipment, pad maintenance, fueling, and operating machines such as excavators, skid steers, and Morookas. The work is outdoors, fast-paced, and requires travel and overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down equipment such as generators, piping, containment, and light towers
• Operate heavy equipment safely, including excavators, skid steers, and Morookas
• Fuel, inspect, and perform daily maintenance on equipment, report issues
• Assist with water transfer and frac support activities
• Guide truck backing and monitor site safety protocols
• Maintain clear communication with teams via radios, phones, and in person
• Keep work areas organized and safe

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience as a roustabout, field operator, or similar role in oil & gas
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (excavator, skid steer, Morooka)
• Equipment certifications preferred but not required
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and travel overnight as needed
