The Equipment Operator will operate one or several types of large power construction machinery, such as skid steer, end dump, bulldozers, graders, and excavators to excavate, move and grade earth.

Job Duties

• Able to grade, excavate, move materials in a safe and productive manner.
• Complete daily maintenance, walk around and fill out checklist.
• Willingly attend and support Foremen/Superintendents during morning huddles and toolbox talks.
• Other duties as assigned by Foreman or Superintendent.
• Align machines, cutter heads, or depth gauge makers with reference stakes and guidelines; coordinate machine actions with other activities and signals from crew.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and materials using trucks, tractors, power cranes, shovels, graders, and related equipment; drive and maneuver equipment to remove topsoil, vegetation, rocks, and distribute and level earth.
