A Day in the Life of a Cashier / Food Runner

As a Cashier / Food Runner, you are an essential part of the restaurant’s success. You show up on time, greet guests, and maintain a positive, upbeat attitude to ensure outstanding customer service. You take orders via a touch screen register, process transactions accurately, check for accuracy and portion control, and answer customer questions. You address challenging situations with exceptional service and communicate issues to management. You maintain a clean and stocked work area, including floors, windows, restrooms, tables, counters, and equipment. You enjoy teamwork and are willing to learn new tasks. Your reliability and dedication to customer service contribute to your success.

Responsibilities

• Take orders via touch screen register and process transactions accurately
• Ensure accuracy and portion control for each order
• Answer customer questions and provide exceptional service
• Address issues with management when needed
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area (floors, windows, restrooms, tables, counters, equipment)
• Work as part of a team and be willing to learn new tasks

Qualifications

• Availability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and to move and lift boxes

Work Schedule

The typical schedule varies during our hours of operation. We open at 10:00 am and close between 10:00 pm.
