The member frontline cashier is a frontline role focused on delivering friendly service to members, operating registers or the self-checkout area, and maintaining a clean, member-ready area. The position can be fast-paced, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holiday seasons.

Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, answering questions, and guiding self-service technology.
• Operate registers or self-checkout, process purchases, and handle payments.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized area; ensure a welcoming and efficient checkout experience.
• Assist with locating merchandise, preparing displays, and supporting other front-end tasks as needed.
• Maintain safety and security in the facility according to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with managers, co-workers, and other stakeholders to meet priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Customer Service experience; retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register); ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mobile retail applications and providing exceptional customer service.
