Role summary
Position Summary: Want to make a lot of people’s day? Our Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of our front end. You play a major role in how our members feel in the club and when they leave. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that our members interact with. That’s why it’s so important to smile, greet, and thank each and every one. We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self-checkout experience. The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during a holiday season. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members: scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area. It’s hard work, but our cashiers find it rewarding as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

What you’ll do
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering questions
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Assist members with payments and transactions at registers or self-checkout
- Assist with member self-service technology and merchandise organization
Responsibilities and duties

Maintain safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures; conduct safety checks; follow procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials; adhere to company standards; and report unsafe conditions to management.
Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve issues; promote products and services; support members with self-service technology; process purchases; and arrange merchandise.
Comply with company policies and ethics; apply related action plans; use Open Door Policy; and integrate these practices in daily operations.
Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; set priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season). The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed applicable minimum wage.
