Pay rate: $13.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Empty and clean all waste containers and remove waste paper and garbage from the premises to designated areas; damp wipe containers.
• Empty and clean ashtrays and monitor/maintain sand urns; replenish sand as required.
• Dust all image frames, charts, graphs, and wall hangings; damp dust ceilings and air diffusers, partition grilles, registers, and other ventilating louvers.
• Vacuum mats and carpeted areas in workplaces, lobbies, and corridors.
• Dust and clean office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills, and other flat surfaces.
• Wipe and buff metal hardware fixtures and brightwork.
• Clean and maintain tile floor surfaces; damp wipe and buff glass furnishings.
• Clean entry door glass (interior and exterior) and remove stains from vertical surfaces such as doors and frames.
• Wash, clean, and sanitize water coolers; sweep stairs and vacuum if carpeted.
• Clean building floors by sweeping and mopping; clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral directions.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a janitorial-type position.
