Overview

Bon Appetit is hiring immediately for a part-time Dishwasher position.

Location: Palo Alto, California. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM. Further details upon interview.

Pay Rate: $31.45 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine as assigned; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers; steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; assists with loading and unloading supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
