As part of Versant, a newly formed independent media company, the Executive Assistant supports the SVP, Distribution & Partnerships and their team. Responsibilities
- Calendar & Schedule Management: Own and manage a highly dynamic and complex calendar across time zones, coordinating meetings and accommodating changes. Focus on securing time with internal and external stakeholders.
- Relationship Management & Collaboration: Build trusted relationships with assistants, team members, and stakeholders; foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
- Communications & Liaison: Act as a key contact for internal and external communications, prioritizing and streamlining information flow while reflecting the executive's voice and style.
- Confidentiality & Trust: Handle highly sensitive information with discretion and maintain trust with the executive team.
- Process Improvement: Assess workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and operational excellence.
- Office & Event Support: Assist with office administration, team events, and logistics for meetings (virtual and in-person).
- Responsiveness & Flexibility: Be highly responsive and ready to step in during high-priority moments.
- Project Management & Special Assignments: Assist with special projects and provide backup support for other assistants when required.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience supporting senior executives, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
- Organized, detail-oriented with sound judgment and discretion
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Creative and resourceful problem-solver with accountability
- Ability to stay composed under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-up

Additional Information
- Hybrid: Generally in-office at least three days per week; subject to change based on manager discussion or business needs.
- Eligible for company-sponsored benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and more).
- Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 (excludes potential benefits and bonuses).
