Administrative Assistant - Warrensburg Office
Legal Aid of Western Missouri seeks an Administrative Assistant for our office in Warrensburg, Missouri. The administrative assistant’s primary roles are to support a team of attorneys and paralegals on a wide range of legal issues affecting Legal Aid clients; conduct in-person and telephone intakes; field phone calls; handle administrative tasks related to the office’s facilities and supplies; and other duties as assigned. The position requires in-office presence Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Physical Requirements: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about the inside of the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and stand or sit stationary position much of the time.
Qualifications
- Excellent typing ability
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills
- Microsoft Word proficiency
- Excellent customer service skills
- Legal experience preferred, but not required.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required.
Pay: $21.54/hour + DOE
