Schedule: Full Time Monday-Friday 7a-5p, Alternating Saturdays 7:30a-12p
Location: 11 Salt Creek Lane, Hinsdale, IL (may work in clinics in Bolingbrook, Carol Stream, Plainfield, Woodridge)
The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for providing clerical office support. This position answers incoming calls, routes calls to appropriate locations, and greets and directs visitors. This role handles mail distribution, orders supplies, and manages office or departmental scheduling. Additionally, this role ensures efficient and organized office operations.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Greets visitors and answers the telephone in a professional manner, screens calls, takes messages, and directs calls appropriately.
Checks patients in/out, confirms insurance, demographics
Retrieves, sorts, and distributes the department mail.
Orders and maintains supplies for the department within budget guidelines, interacting with department staff to meet needs.
Maintains calendar and schedules appointments for the department.
Maintains organized files and office equipment.
Assists with various administrative tasks as needed.
Ensures the accuracy and confidentiality of all departmental records and communications.
Other duties as assigned.
The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:
High School Grad or Equiv Required
One or more years of Work Experience Preferred
Medical office experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to display professional interactions with all levels of internal and external customers
Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English language
Excellent communication skills
Effectively able to problem solve in complex situations
Ability to adapt to new situations and responsibilities
Excellent written communication skills
