Summary

The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for assisting in the oversight of entire department. The responsibilities may include staff training, development and scheduling as well as promoting an atmosphere that insures customer and associate satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Front Office Manager and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members.

Previous hotel supervisory or management experience required; previous front office experience preferred. Computer proficiency is required, as well as superb communication skills.

This position requires open schedule availability, mornings, afternoons, evenings, including weekends and holidays. This position may involve standing for long periods of time. This is a full-time opportunity and offers several benefits, including insurance packages, generous paid time off benefits, retirement plans, free hotel night stays, and much more.

The salary range for this position is $68,640 - $71,200. This is the pay range for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-pacedenvironment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of one-yearprevious front office supervisory experiencepreferred.
  • Ability to work a flexibleschedule.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
