Jack & Charlie's, a design-forward bar and restaurant in New York City, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead its team. This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate, hospitality-driven team committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience through meticulous service and culinary excellence.

The Restaurant Manager will oversee a top-tier culinary program rooted in quality, creativity, and seasonal expression. This role demands a combination of leadership, operational expertise, and a strong grasp of cocktail culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in service and execution.
  • Train and mentor a skilled service team and support in-house management team.
  • Experience with TOAST or OpenTable is highly preferred.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with NYC DOH.
  • Collaborate with ownership and culinary teams on programming and events.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, steakhouse or American food-driven restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; thrives in a team-first environment.
  • Sharp attention to detail and ability to manage inventory and a service team.
  • A commitment to hospitality, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Ability to work an open schedule; days, nights, weekends & holidays.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Desire to continuously learn, grow, and strive to create a positive and fulfilling atmosphere.
  • Three years NYC or comparable restaurant experience required.
  • Point of Sale experience.
  • Craft Cocktail, fine wine, and craft beer experience a must.
  • Willingness to provide an excellent guest experience.
