Location: Tifton, GA (100% Onsite)

Position: Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for assigning and coordinating the work in a manufacturing department in order to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.

Base pay range: $67,000.00/yr - $88,000.00/yr

This range is provided by Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Authority for personnel actions and oversight of day-to-day operations of the group.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a culture of safety throughout the production team.
• Maintain log of shift operations.
• Prepare daily time sheets for hourly employees, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports.
• Inspect products to verify production specifications are met.
• Review production schedules, material and manpower resources.
• Assign employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.
• Participate in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment and procedures.
• Maintain a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules and performance.
• Train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 5 years related experience.
• Good work record and experience.
• Ability to lead in a production environment.
• Requires tact and good judgment.
