Shift Details

  • 1st shift: Start 6:30 AM, End 5:30 PM
  • 1st shift: Start 7:00 AM, End 3:30 PM
  • 2nd shift: Start 4:00 PM, End 12:30 AM
  • 2nd shift: Start 5:30 PM, End 4:30 AM

Responsibilities

  • Guide a line or table of production associates during portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping. Lead, direct, guide and train assigned production employees.
  • Begin shift prior to production, obtain the production plan and targets from the supervisor, and set up tables and lines accordingly.
  • Coordinate with the supervisor to implement production plans and targets; communicate targets and performance to associates; ensure adherence to policies and procedures and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse to anticipate shortages, check ingredients for quality and shelf life, and communicate needs to avoid downtime.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all SOPs for portioning, bagging/kitting, and shipping; set up lines per SOPs; suggest SOP improvements to the supervisor.
  • Manage waste by preventing overproduction and reducing food/packaging waste; escalate quality concerns as needed.
  • Oversee portioning and meal bagging/kitting for the assigned table/pod, including: production sheets, packaging and labels, quality checks, and adherence to SOPs and targets.
  • Assist the Shipping line as needed; understand the Boxing Call out Sheet and SOPs for transitioning between runs; coordinate with warehouse to avoid downtime.
  • Deliver hourly/daily output counts to the supervisor and manage inventory procedures (FIFO, labeling, storage, and location of completed meals).
  • Enforce and uphold Food Safety Procedures (GMP) and SQF-related practices; ensure safety of team members and sanitation of work areas; participate in safety trainings; escalate safety risks as needed.
  • Supervise production associates on the line, ensure production pace and line integrity, resolve conflicts and escalate issues when required.
  • General responsibilities: follow GMPs, maintain safe working conditions, support SQF and quality programs.

Qualifications

  • General high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with/without accommodation.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours; strong attendance and performance record.
  • 0 travel required.
