The Position is Custodian in the Dover Corps department, with Availability of Position Immediate and Schedule Part Time Plus - Monday thru Friday, 4 hours per day.

The primary Function of the Custodian is to provide janitorial services to the facility, both indoors and outdoors, as required for the efficient and effective operation of The Salvation Army programs.
Duties Include
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility as assigned by Corps Officers.
- Assist with the ordering and resupplying of necessary products throughout the facility.
- Empty trash and clean receptacles as needed.
- Help maintain outdoor areas as directed.
- Maintain clean and orderly supply closets.
- Replace light bulbs as directed.
- Notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
- Respond to staff and leadership to assist with various tasks.
- Report all maintenance and safety concerns to the Corps Officer.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to follow directions and operate cleaning equipment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and the public.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- You must be able to obtain clearances required by the Joseph R. Biden III and the Child Protection Act.
- Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
